Job Description

Melrose Built is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of on-site delivery for new build projects. You will be responsible for leading site operations, managing subcontractors, and driving safety and quality outcomes in line with Melrose’s Delivery of Excellence Process.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role requires strong leadership and technical capability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, while fostering collaboration across all site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site teams to safely deliver new build projects on time and to specification

  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Melrose safety systems

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety reviews, and incident reporting

  • Oversee daily site coordination and subcontractor management

  • Drive quality assurance processes and ensure defect-free handover

  • Promote a positive and accountable site culture aligned with Melrose values

About You

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Site Manager on builder-side new build projects

  • Proven record of safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery

  • Trade or technical qualification with solid understanding of construction sequencing

  • Confident leader who communicates clearly and upholds high safety standards
